Job Description
Aramark is hiring Event Setup & Teardown Team Members to support overnight operations at Daikin Park. This role is responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment, furniture, staging, and event configurations after Houston Astros games, concerts, and large‑scale stadium events.
- 11:00 PM start time
- Event‑based schedule following Astros home games and major events
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
- Shift length varies based on event needs
Event Setup & Teardown Team Members are responsible for:
- Setting up tables, chairs, staging, barricades, and event equipment
- Breaking down event configurations after games and concerts
- Moving and repositioning furniture and operational equipment
- Assisting with floor layout transitions between events
- Supporting operations teams with venue conversions
- Ensuring all setups meet safety and operational standards
- Working efficiently to meet event turnaround deadlines
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying
- Ability to stand and move for the entire shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co‑workers
- Adaptable to guests’ needs
