This fully‑time Membership Coordinator will support our membership growth goals by recruiting new members, maintaining the membership database, and providing administrative support to the Membership Director and Manager.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the General Manager.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Prepare prospect materials, coordinate club tours, and assist with follow‑up campaigns to drive new member engagement and referrals.
  • Plan and execute club events, fostering a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for both prospective and current members.
  • Coordinate orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new members.
  • Maintain and update membership records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of member and prospect information.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence, support scheduling of meetings, and assist the Membership Manager and Director with operational needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with current and prospective members.
Additional Duties
  • Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned by management, reflecting the dynamic nature of the club.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Adhere to safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or customer service role, sales, hospitality, service industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Selling and negotiation skills; sales training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with golf or the private club industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
  • Work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
  • Climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as required.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.
