Environmental Project Manager – Site Assessment & Remediation

The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead Phase I/II site assessments and remediation projects from the field through final report. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of scientists and report directly to our Remediation Projects Director.
This role is a fit for someone with solid environmental consulting experience who's ready to take ownership of projects and client relationships.
What You'll Do Field Work- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Advance soil borings and install/develop monitoring wells
- Collect soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water samples
- Perform vapor intrusion assessments (soil vapor and ambient air sampling)
- Manage long‑term groundwater monitoring and remediation projects
- Handle investigation‑derived waste management
- Oversee full project lifecycle: setup, mobilization, subcontractor coordination, and closeout
- Maintain client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Manage field equipment, supplies, and consumables inventory
- Complete required project documentation and regulatory submittals
- Write and compile Phase I and Phase II ESA reports
- Prepare groundwater monitoring reports (GWMRs), LPST submittals, and risk‑based corrective action reports (APARs, RAPs, RACRs)
- Interpret analytical results and develop remediation recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–7+ years of environmental consulting or due diligence experience
- Hands‑on Phase I and Phase II ESA experience
- Familiarity with ASTM standards for environmental due diligence
- Knowledge of USCS soil classifications and field logging
- Familiarity with TRRP and risk‑based corrective action programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to perform physical field work in varying outdoor conditions
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro and/or CAD
- Professional registration (PG, PE, or CHMM) or in progress
- Experience with Texas TCEQ regulatory programs and submittals
- Competitive salary: $70,000–$85,000
