Sr. Water​/Wastewater Design Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Wastewater Engineer with experience in Municipal Wastewater projects.

• Lead a multi-disciplined delivery team to complete tasks within budgets.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of project management with a high degree of technical complexity and a focus on profitability.
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with other disciplined engineers, project leads, and our clients.
• Comprehensive understanding of water and wastewater theory and industry practices, standards, and their applications.
• Experience in the design of water and or wastewater non-infrastructure from the feasibility stage through to detailed design including the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, control philosophies, distribution/collection systems and detailed process calculations.
• Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, liaising directly with clients and other project team members.
• Experience and capable in delivering process elements of design on small, medium, or large water and wastewater projects.
• Strong Mathematical and Analytical skills including use of MS Excel.
• Working successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.
• Provide detailed calculations for water/wastewater processes.
• Prepare technical specifications and detailed designs.
• 10 plus years of experience in design, construction administration of municipal wastewater projects.
• Water/Wastewater treatment design and optimization experience.
• Consulting engineering, cost estimating and specification writing experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the client and the design team.
• Desire for both personal and team growth, and the ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
• Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available.
• Design/drafting experience on site/civil projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Lead a team of engineers and designers, offering mentorship and guidance
• Create reports to present to stakeholders and management on the state of the team, production, and more

• Bachelor's or higher in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field desired
• Must have a Texas Professional Engineering License
• Previous leadership or management experienced desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong time management skills

Salary Range: $180000 to $200000 Annually
