The Electronics Engineer will support operations by performing testing, troubleshooting, and technical maintenance activities. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert to ensure materials and products meet required specifications and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing and prepare required documentation for electronic products.
  • Troubleshoot and repair circuit boards down to the component level.
  • Operate electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.
  • Provide maintenance support for test fixtures and equipment.
  • Assemble electronic products, including light mechanical work and soldering.
  • Prepare products for environmental and chamber screening tests.
  • Conduct cycle testing using automated test software.
  • Support technical and product‑related needs across other departments.
  • Properly label and handle nonconforming products.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • File and maintain test records in accordance with retention requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with soldering and desoldering.
  • Background in electronic testing methods and troubleshooting approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience developing software and hardware using LabVIEW.
  • Knowledge of PCB hardware, analog and digital I/O, and serial communication.
  • Ability to support debugging of test failures on the shop floor and assist with quality root‑cause analysis.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuitry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level.
  • Proficiency with PC‑based tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills, including computation of ratios, percentages, and conversions.
  • Ability to apply common‑sense reasoning to carry out written, verbal, and diagram‑based instructions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
