Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electrical control panels for industries including chemical, petroleum, food, and utilities, is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer
.
The engineer will lead mechanical design and new product development for power distribution products, mentor junior engineers
, and collaborate across manufacturing, sourcing, and testing teams
. Key responsibilities include creating complex assemblies and drawings, developing BOMs, coordinating testing
, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in switch gear or switchboard design
- Expertise in mechanical design, sheet metal fabrication, and ANSI/ASME/NEC/UL standards
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Solid Works
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
