- Extensive survey background in both office and field operations
- Perform land surveys, property and right-of-way determinations, boundary research and platting services
- Perform quality control of survey activities, calculations, and project deliverables
- Sign and seal surveys, maps, and other related documents as a responsible professional
- Work with WGI Market & Operational Leaders with primary focus on business development and sales in Texas and to help grow geospatial services for the firm
- Responsible for growth and profitability of the company
- Assist in development and execution of strategic operational goals and KPI’s
- Plan, implement and manage the overall long-term business success strategy
- Work with the other senior leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
- Mentor, manage and train field and office associates
- Perform work safely and effectively
- Current Licensure as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) and LSLS in the State of Texas
- 10+ years of experience as RPLS with experience in Transportation market preferred
- TxDOT pre-certifications for surveying categories
- Excels at networking, negotiating and strategic and critical thinking
- Four-year degree in Geomatics or related field highly preferred
- Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Civil3D preferred
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Overview
We are currently seeking a Texas Licensed State Land Surveyor (LSLS) with a min. of 10 years of professional experience to be part of our Geospatial Division to work out of one of our Texas offices (Austin, Dallas, Houston or San Antonio).
The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment where projects are derived from both public and private clientele.
