Failure Analysis Technician

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Failure Analysis Technician.

• Tests, troubleshoots and repairs complex system failures
• Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components, subcomponents and/or computer systems
• Assembles and disassembles units, computer components and/or subcomponents
• Follows procedures and diagrams in engineering change orders
• Interacts daily with operations and materials groups
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

• Associates degree in electronics, computer repair or other related field, preferred
• 2 years or more experience in failure analysis, electronics quality inspection, or computer repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware/components and basic computer software
• Experience using hand power tools preferred
• Proficient English abilities required
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Use of small hand tools
• Frequent standing, walking and sitting
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
