Surveying Technician

Our client, a respected multidisciplinary engineering and land surveying firm in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Survey Technician to support boundary, right-of-way, topographic, and title survey projects. • Prepare calculations, plats, easements, and supporting documentation for boundary, right-of-way, topographic, and title surveys
• Draft and process survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Review and interpret deeds, title commitments, plats, and construction plans
• Manage multiple drafting assignments while meeting project timelines and budget requirements
• Collaborate with licensed surveyors and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Minimum 3+ years of land surveying office experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of survey calculations and boundary analysis
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions and technical documents
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience with Trimble Business Center
• Familiarity with right-of-way and easement preparation
• Exposure to transportation or civil infrastructure projects
• Field experience supporting survey crews
