Job SummaryAs HSEQ Manager Renewables (U.S.), you will join our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team! In this role, you will report to the HSEQ Manager, Americas and will have the opportunity to lead and continuously improve HSEQ programs across renewable operational sites in the United States. You will ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen risk management practices, and promote a proactive safety and environmental culture across the portfolio.

- Implement and continuously improve company wide HSEQ programs across renewable operational sites, ensuring alignment with the corporate HSEQ management system and applicable U.S. federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Ensure site level compliance with environmental regulations including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, coordinating with state regulatory agencies as required.
- Develop, review, and maintain site specific HSEQ policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with permitting obligations and operational risk profiles.
- Lead and coordinate HSEQ audits, inspections, and compliance assessments to verify adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee contractor and vendor HSEQ performance, including prequalification, field oversight, and enforcement of safety and environmental expectations.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and drive timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor evolving U.S. HSE legislation and regulatory developments and communicate impacts to operational leadership.
- Partner with site leadership to strengthen safety culture through coaching, engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support environmental reporting, sustainability initiatives, and HSEQ due diligence activities related to development projects and acquisitions.
- Contribute to HSEQ budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor expenditures against approved plans.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field. Strong knowledge of U.S. HSE regulations and standards including OSHA and EPA requirements; familiarity with ANSI and ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 standards. - Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSEQ roles, preferably within renewable energy, construction, power generation, or oil and gas sectors. Demonstrated experience supporting high risk operational environments and large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects. Experience working across multiple sites is strongly preferred. - Skills:
Proven leadership experience managing direct and indirect teams, contractors, and cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in operational settings. Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Spanish is an asset.
Travel requirements:
This role requires up to 50% travel across U.S. project and operational sites.
