Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an electrical designer with experience in the design of electrical systems using CAD software for industrial facilities to be based in our Houston, TX office. This role will work with other designers and engineers to execute multiple projects for our clients within the refining, petrochemical, steel mills, power plants, and/or similar industries.

Skills/
Experience:
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare design documents using AutoCAD and/or Bentley Micro Station products
- Perform 3D modeling utilizing Plant 3D
- Prepare electrical construction drawings for various maintenance and capital projects in heavy industrial processing facilities. based on sketches or concepts generated by senior designers or project engineers.
- Interface with Project Engineering
- Ability to work in the field
- Ability to perform field surveying of existing conditions
- Ability to communicate and work on multiple multi-discipline projects with other Designers and Engineers to support our clients projects and schedules
