Position: Jr Engineer (PV & BESS)

Technical Project Manager

Based in:
Houston, Texas, USA

The selected professional will provide technical support for Solar PV project engineering, including design review, cost estimation, system modeling, procurement, construction oversight, and technical due diligence.

What will you do?

* Collaborate with Engineers and Development Managers to support project development, design, and cost estimation.

* Gather and analyze technical data, including site structure, electrical drawings, and electricity load information.

* Review Solar PV layouts and Electrical one-line diagrams using AutoCAD.

* Conduct system energy modeling and performance estimates using PVsyst.

* Assist the Procurement team in preparing technical documents for RFPs and coordinate with EPC companies to ensure accurate project design.

* Support financial teams in technical due diligence processes with Independent Engineers.

What do we need?

* 2 years of experience in solar project development, engineering, and EPC processes.

* Experience in development engineering and project design.

* Background in engineering, preferably electrical engineering.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing Solar PV layouts and Electrical one-line diagrams.

* Ideal: experience with PVsyst

* Advanced level of English
