Seeking a Project Engineer with experience in field-based project work, process design, and industrial environments. This role involves supporting technical decision‑making, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position is on‑site and requires strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Participate in technical decision‑making and resolve design and engineering issues for ongoing projects.
- Develop, review, and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and support equipment layout and piping routing from concept to detailed design.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including bids, proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and material lists.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resource availability and project progress.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing day‑to‑day technical support and coordination across engineering disciplines.
- Maintain organized project files and accurate technical documentation, supporting the development and maintenance of piping specifications and engineering standards.
- Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), support bid evaluations, and ensure compliance with safety priorities and industry protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Construction, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- 2–4 years of experience in field‑based project work, including process design and layout, preferably in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
- Working knowledge of basic piping, civil, and structural systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and effective in complex project environments.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment and build effective working relationships.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
