In this role, you will participate in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of civil components and processes. You will assist with preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, models, calculations, material requisitions, studies, reports, presentations, and proposals. Your assistance will contribute to civil designs that meet project requirements.

"This position is designated as part‑time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".

• Participates in the design, development, modification and evaluation of Civil engineering components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices (DRNs)
• Plans civil layout, prepares detailed design and layout drawings for sitework, drainage, roadways, railroads, etc. Ensures designs are compliant with local and national regulations before and during construction
• Participates in reviews and recommends approval of design drawings and data for compliance with requirements
• Prepares civil designs and construction drawings using 2‑D / 3‑D computer aided design (CAD), presentation graphics and civil models and codes
• Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations
• Provides technical assistance to other Civil Engineering personnel and interacts with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
