Are you a Design Engineer experienced in pipeline projects who enjoys solving complex technical problems while being in an environment built on trust, autonomy and long-term careers?

Do you want to join a family-owned engineering business that values its people, avoids micromanagement, and is known for low staff turnover, annual salary increases, and consistent yearly bonuses?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, family-run engineering firm as a Pipeline Design Engineer, providing technical expertise across a wide range of projects involving the design, engineering, construction, and operation of pipeline systems and related facilities.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, technically strong Design Engineer with proven experience in crude oil handling systems, gas processing facilities, or pipeline risk management. A Professional Engineering (PE) registration is preferred but not required.

This is your chance to join a company built on trust that rewards its team whilst offering diverse, technically challenging work while maintaining a supportive and collaborative culture.

THE ROLE:
  • Provide technical engineering support for the design, construction, installation, and operation of pipelines and related facilities.
  • Design pipeline systems including compression facilities, pump stations, storage terminals, and meter stations.
  • Develop project-specific specifications, piping layouts, calculations, stress analyses, material and procurement documentation.
  • Work closely with field personnel and project teams to support engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
THE PERSON:
  • Degree-qualified in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in pipeline engineering, infrastructure, or industrial project environments (all experience levels considered).
  • Strong technical knowledge of pipeline regulations, industry codes, integrity methods, and construction practices.
  • Organised, analytical, and able to manage multiple complex projects with a high standard of quality.
