Automation Engineer

Overview

This is a true project-delivery I&C role working on industrial automation projects from early design through site commissioning. You’ll be involved in how systems are designed, how they’re built, and how they perform in the field, not boxed into a single phase or stuck behind paperwork.

• Designing instrumentation and control systems to project and process requirements
• Developing control strategies, narratives, logic sequences, and cause and effect matrices
• PLC and DCS configuration using ladder logic, function block, and sequential charts
• Loop checks, functional testing, and on-site commissioning
• Supporting safe, compliant designs aligned with industry standards
• Producing clear engineering documentation including specs, wiring, and loop drawings
• Coordinating with internal teams, vendors, construction, and clients to deliver projects cleanly

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 5+ years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience
• Strong exposure to PLCs and DCS environments
• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens PCS7, and Delta
  
  V preferred
• Comfortable owning designs and being involved through execution and startup

• End-to-end project exposure, not just design or maintenance
• Proper engineering ownership and technical depth
