ROA Talent is partnering with a leading international construction contractor delivering major Data Centre and mission‑critical projects across Ireland and the EU. Due to strong growth and a significant pipeline of future projects, we’re recruiting Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to join the client’s Pre‑Construction Team.

These roles sit at the heart of early project development — supporting design, planning, technical reviews and ensuring that large‑scale MEP packages are fully coordinated before construction begins.

• Play a key role in pre‑construction for tier‑1 hyperscale Data Centres and other technical buildings
• Influence design, scope, planning and project readiness from the start
• Join a respected main contractor with long‑term frameworks across Europe
• Collaborate with international design, BIM and engineering teams
• English is the main project language

As part of the Pre‑Construction Engineering Team, you’ll support early‑stage project planning and technical development for major MEP packages.

• Review and coordinate Mechanical or Electrical designs during pre‑construction
• Assess drawings, specifications, modelling outputs and technical submissions
• Identify design gaps, clashes, value‑engineering opportunities and buildability concerns
• Support planning, sequencing, logistics and early project strategy
• Work closely with BIM teams on model reviews and coordination
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and internal engineering leads
• Assist in tender evaluations, scope development and package breakdown
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design reviews
• Support handover from pre‑construction to delivery teams, ensuring a smooth transition

You’re a technically strong Electrical or Mechanical Engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, coordination and detailed design work.

• Experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Building Services Engineer or similar
• Strong technical understanding of MEP systems
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Data Centres, mission‑critical, pharma, high‑tech industrial, or large commercial builds
• Ability to read drawings, assess technical information and challenge design where needed
• Solid communication skills and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work in Ireland and/or EU project locations
