Assistant Chief Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Chief Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. The ideal candidate will support the Chief Engineer in overseeing engineering operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily engineering operations and maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of engineering staff and contractors
- Ensure all equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safely
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues across various systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management for engineering supplies
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
- Support the training and development of engineering personnel

Requirements Skills andQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field is a plus but not required
- Proven experience in engineering management or supervisory roles
- Work experience in hotels prefered if not, Commercial Office buildings are also preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, safety certifications) are preferred
