We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Controls Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation and process control to design, develop, and commission PLC and HMI systems across oil & gas, water/wastewater, and chemical processing environments. In this role, you will take ownership of the full automation lifecycle from conceptual design through field commissioning and ongoing support using Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
You will develop control strategies, configure and integrate instrumentation, VFDs, and SCADA systems, collaborate closely with electrical and process engineers on system architecture and P&n, and perform FAT/SAT testing and onsite commissioning to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient automation solutions. You should have demonstrated proficiency with Rockwell (Control Logix, Compact Logix, Factory Talk View) and Siemens (TIA Portal, S7, WinCC) platforms, along with a solid understanding of industrial networking, instrumentation, and applicable standards. Preferred candidates will also have experience with DCS/SCADA systems, historians, and functional safety concepts. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to travel for commissioning and client support (approximately 10-25%) are important for success in this role, which offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
