Responsibilities
- Test Design & Planning: Create, review, and maintain detailed testing procedures, protocols, and Acceptance Criteria (FAT/Qualification tests) based on ISO 14310 and API 5CT/5C5 standards.
- Validation Testing: Conduct and oversee destructive and non-destructive tests, including high-pressure gas testing (nitrogen), thermal cycling, and structural performance tests for casing connections.
- Design Interaction: Collaborate with the design team to review engineering documents, ensuring designs are optimized for testing and field performance.
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Investigate equipment failures, analyze test data, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify improvements in product design or testing procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of all testing procedures, results, and calibration certificates, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, manufacturing, and QA teams to validate product design and ensure high-quality, reliable products.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in testing mechanical systems in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with tubing, or premium connections.
- Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of API 5CT, API 5C5, and ISO 14310 standard

Skills:
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings (AutoCAD/Solid Works) and experience with data acquisition systems and pressure testing equipment. - Certifications: Proven experience and, ideally, official certification in V0, V1, V2 testing protocols.
- Experience in high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) testing environments.
- Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for supporting connection design validation.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure safety and precision in testing.
- Communication: Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
