KMR Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit experienced Electrical Engineers to work on large-scale water and utilities projects delivering essential infrastructure for communities across Ireland.

As an Electrical Engineer (Water Services), you will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams on complex above- and below-ground infrastructure, with exposure to major treatment plants, pipelines, and utility assets.

• Monitor and report on electrical works being carried out on-site
• Oversee contractor compliance with Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with contract documents and works requirements
• Review contractor designs and technical submissions
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and support project governance requirements
• Contribute to collaborative, multidisciplinary site supervision teams

• Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 7+ years post-graduate experience in engineering, including site supervision
• Experience in the water sector strongly preferred (pipelines, treatment plants, utilities)
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and site-based delivery
• Working knowledge of Public Works Contracts and/or FIDIC
• Contractor design review experience is an advantage
