Lead Control Systems Engineer - OSI PI
Rovi Sys is looking for a skilled OSI PI engineer to develop real‑time data and historian‑based solutions that deliver real business value to our customers. You will collaborate directly with business stakeholders, data consumers, and data producers to ensure that the solutions provide real value.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with customers to design, configure, develop, test, and deploy real‑time data solutions based on OSI PI (AVEVA), Aspen Tech, Canary, or similar technologies.
- Install and configure real‑time data technologies (e.g., PI Server, AF Server, and other OSI PI Suite products).
- Set up interfaces to connect control system infrastructures.
- Configure real‑time data applications, visualizations, and reports per design specifications.
- Work in a team environment with Rovi Sys engineers, customers, manufacturing personnel, and third‑party vendors and contractors.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams.
- 2–8 years of design and configuration experience with a real‑time data solution technology in OSI PI, AVEVA, Aspen Tech, Canary, or similar technologies.
- Self‑motivated with excellent communication skills and a desire to work with people.
- Understanding and adherence to Rovi Sys and client safety/quality policies and procedures.
- B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Working knowledge of common control systems and interfacing to historians and IT applications.
- Experience with:
Creation/modification of PI tags; PI AF Element templates and elements; PI dashboards (PI Vision/Process Book); PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications, PI Event Frames; PI interfaces such as OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI.
- Competitive base salary: $90,000–$130,000, depending on experience.
