Provide essential technical support, create comprehensive designs, and ensure compliance with project requirements while working in collaboration with engineers, architects, and other professionals. Expected to employ computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and modify project plans and use their experience to solve problems, pay attention to detail, and apply their in-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industry best practices. Your extensive experience in mechanical engineering design will be instrumental in driving innovation and achieving project goals.
This will involve coordinating with the design team to ensure all aspects of the project are addressed, and that the final designs are accurate and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will be engaged to participate in project scoping, planning, status reporting and scope management.

Responsibilities:
- Provides computer aided design (CAD) drafting, prepares drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketches.
- Coordinates and consults with engineers or other designers to complete projects, ensuring adherence to established specifications and standards.
- Support equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.
- Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
- Present design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
- Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
- Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required.
- Works is highly independent.
- Prepares, reviews, and approves mechanical equipment and piping BOMs and designs.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners.

- Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Auto Cad Vault preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Strong relationship capabilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken.
