Engineering opportunities at Phillips 66 may include work in areas such as:

• Designing, developing, and supporting engineering solutions that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and performance
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams including operations, maintenance, manufacturing, digital, and commercial partners
• Applying engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts
• Analyzing data, processes, and systems to identify optimization opportunities
• Contributing to projects, technical documentation, and implementation activities
• Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Promoting a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and innovation

Specific responsibilities will vary based on role, discipline, and level.

• Legally authorized to work in job posting country
• Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous learning

• Internship, co‑op, or professional experience in an engineering, technical, manufacturing, operations, or digital environment
• Experience applying engineering principles to real‑world problems through coursework, projects, research, or professional roles
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, energy, technology, or related engineering environments
• Familiarity with engineering tools, software, or systems relevant to your discipline (e.g., CAD, simulation tools, data analysis platforms, automation or control systems)
• Experience working on cross‑functional teams or collaborative project environments; interest in continuous improvement, operational excellence, digital transformation, or emerging engineering technologies
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, or involvement in student organizations, professional associations, or community projects
