Fire Protection Engineer

About the Role:

Anadarko Industries, LLC is hiring a Fire Protection Engineer to provide fire safety leadership and technical expertise across critical facilities. You’ll ensure code compliance, guide life safety design, and contribute to long-term planning and emergency response strategies.

• Review and approve fire protection system designs and installations
• Inspect facilities and analyze safety risks
• Support construction projects with life safety compliance
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
• Provide expert consultation on fire codes and standards
• Deliver training and support audits of fire protection systems
• Analyze water supply capabilities for fire suppression readiness

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with experience working with fire safety systems; OR
• APS or RME-G license with 15 years of design or installation experience with
  Edwards and Monaco fire alarm systems
• Familiarity with IBC, NFPA / ICC codes, UFC, and OSHA
• PE license in Fire Protection Engineering

Schedule:

8-hour shift, with an option to observe a 9/80 schedule

Work Location:

In person at Johnson Space Center

Pay:$115,000 – $155,000
