MB&B is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to support the planning and design of commercial site development projects. This role is focused on the technical design and production of civil engineering documents
, working closely with architects and senior engineers to develop efficient, code-compliant site designs from concept through permitting.

• Prepare civil engineering construction documents for commercial developments, including:
• Grading Plans
• Drainage and Detention Plans
• Utility Plans
• Paving and Site Layout Plans
• SWPPP and Stormwater Management Reports
• Plan and Profile Sheets
• Perform stormwater conveyance and detention calculations in accordance with city, county, and DOT standards.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility layouts with a focus on constructability and efficient site design.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for surface modeling, alignments, profiles, and plan production.
• Incorporate review comments from internal teams and permitting agencies into final design documents.
• Prepare civil permit submittals and respond to agency comments.

• Coordinate design details with architects and other engineering disciplines as needed.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance with approved civil documents.
• Assist with preparation of as-built drawings when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• 5+ years of civil site design experience for commercial, retail, or industrial developments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design standards
• Texas P.E. license preferred, not required
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet production deadlines
