Overview

2H Offshore Inc. in Houston, TX seeks Engineering Specialist – Integrity. Requires BS in Engineering + 60 mos exp or MS in Engineering + 24 mos exp. Exp to be in a position involving Offshore Inspections, Risk Assessments & Integrity Mgmt covering floating structures, subsea equipment, flowlines & risers. Possible offshore travel once per year to support inspections of subsea equipment associated with oil and gas assets in the Gulf of America.

Responsibilities
  • Support execution of project management responsibilities for all technical and commercial aspects of integrity projects, including allocation of budget, delegation, and supervision activities
  • Development and review of design, fabrication, and installation engineering documentation of subsea equipment, umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) and subsea production systems (SPS) of offshore oil and gas fixed and floating assets
  • Compilation of Risk Assessments. Assess the potential risk of applicable threats (internal and external corrosion, erosion, structural fatigue, overstress amongst other) to the subsea structures, conformed by all operating equipment within the subsea field
  • Compilation of asset specific Integrity Management (IM) plans
  • Compilation of offshore inspection procedures and work scopes for internal and third-party use
  • On-site and office-based review and reporting of inspection and condition monitoring data, including defect analysis and future life assessment
  • Execute key performance indicator (KPI) assessments with collected data, to evaluate the overall health of the subsea asset by applicable threat
  • Compilation of quarterly and annual condition assessment reports
  • Client liaison on assigned projects including technical presentations and meetings
  • Potential support for periodic offshore site visits
  • Perform work in compliance with company Health & Safety policy
  • Possible offshore travel once per year to support inspections of subsea equipment associated with oil and gas assets in the Gulf of America
Qualifications
  • Requires BS in Engineering + 60 mos exp or MS in Engineering + 24 mos exp
  • Experience to be in a position involving Offshore Inspections, Risk Assessments & Integrity Management covering floating structures, subsea equipment, flowlines & risers
