Systems Application Engineer

• Experience providing high-quality programming per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members.
• Work as part of a team responsible for the programming, start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
• Configure, program, and customize control systems to meet project-specific needs.
• Create software programs and front-end graphics.
• Commission projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Perform system diagnostics and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate customer training and complete closeout documents.
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

• Possessing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar program.
• Programming skills are essential.
• Understanding of electrical principles.
• Knowledge of control systems/HVAC systems is a plus (but not required).
• Additional preferred skills to be discussed during the interview, tailored to specific business units.
