Senior Conveyance Project Manager – Jacobs

Join Jacobs as a Senior Conveyance Project Manager to support delivering world‑class water and wastewater conveyance projects for our agricultural and municipal clients. You’ll lead a team of highly qualified engineers through the design process, interact directly with clients to develop and deliver technical solutions, and mentor ambitious mid‑level engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams throughout all phases of planning, execution, and close‑out.
  • Manage scheduling, cost control, design review, and client communications.
  • Act as a technical liaison between project owners and design teams while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Mentor and grow staff, establish client rapport, and support acquisition of new projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering multiple conveyance‑related water or wastewater projects.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
  • Licensed Utah Professional Engineer (or other state P.E. with commitment to obtain within one year).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience serving various clients in conveyance pipeline design, pump station design, and wastewater treatment.
  • Strong business development, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently.
Location & Compensation

Location:

Houston, TX

Base salary range: $119,800 to $187,250 per year. Individual pay is determined by work location, experience, and relevant education.
