Position OverviewScientist 2 – Environmental Field Sampling and Data Collection
Key Responsibilities- Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Write technical reports and proposals.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
- Strong technical writing skills, ability to multi‑task, safety awareness, and a good record of safe work practices.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Experience with Due Diligence work is a plus.
- Experience working on Phase I/II projects and reporting is preferred.
- Light construction experience or hands‑on skills a plus.
- Experience with data management and report preparation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Open to travel throughout the Gulf Coast and into Louisiana.
