A leading offshore exploration and production company is seeking a Planning Engineer to support forecasting, budgeting, and asset planning for its shelf operations. This role serves as the central point of contact for all planning and data needs related to a major asset portfolio and works closely with asset leadership to guide day‑to‑day management and long‑range strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead monthly production forecasting using PHDWin or similar reserves software
- Support weekly and monthly updates, project lookbacks, and lifecycle evaluations
- Collaborate with Operations to reconcile production and cost data
- Update recompletion and workover cases for the monthly process
- Provide inputs for annual planning and budget cycles
- Assist in onboarding and managing newly acquired assets
- Prepare analyses and deliverables for senior leadership, board materials, and other ad hoc requests
- Help standardize asset data used across Accounting, Finance, and Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of oil and gas industry experience; offshore experience preferred
- Experience with PHDWin or other reserves/forecasting tools
- Strong understanding of production, drilling, completions, and P&A terminology
