Permit Coordinator

As a Permit Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the application process for permits, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.

• Prepare, organize, and submit permit applications to the correct authorities.

• Coordinate with internal teams, such as design and engineering, and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure all requirements are met.

• Maintain accurate records of all permits, licenses, and related documents, ensuring compliance to avoid delays.

• Communicate effectively with various departments and agencies to track the status of permits and resolve any arising issues.

• Prepare for and coordinate necessary inspections, gathering evidence to address any violations.

• Expertise in permitting, permit application processes, and utilities coordination.

• 2+ years of experience in permit coordination within the utilities industry.

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications.

• Experience with roadway and highway projects, especially in coordination with TxDOT.

• Strong skills in project administration, data entry, and project analysis.

This position is based in an office setting, requiring 40 hours of work per week. Enjoy benefits such as paid time off and holidays.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
