We’re looking for a CAD Drafter / Intern Architect to support site test fits, early-stage building program layouts, and conceptual design packages that inform real-world development decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and business development teams to turn ideas into clear, buildable design packages.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Develop
** site test fits**, conceptual layouts, and architectural drawings for new data center developments.
* Support the engineering team in translating customer and internal program requirements into clear CAD drawings.
* Prepare conceptual building plans, and presentation materials for internal and customer use.
* Assist in evaluating site constraints, access, and utility planning to support early design decisions.
* Contribute to
** new building program ideas**, massing studies, and master-planning efforts.
* Support special projects and other engineering team initiatives as assigned.
** Qualifications
* ** 1–4 years of professional experience in
** architectural drafting
** or related design roles.
* Proficiency in
** AutoCAD** (Revit, Sketch Up, or similar visualization tools a plus).
* Proficiency in
** Blue Beam**.
* Strong spatial planning skills and an ability to translate technical requirements into efficient layouts.
* Understanding of basic building systems, site planning principles, and architectural documentation.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Prior experience with industrial, commercial, or data center projects is a
** plus**, but not required.
