Drafting Coordinator

Our client is currently seeking a Drafting Coordinator to join their team in downtown Houston, TX. The Drafting Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing the creation, review, and quality assurance of technical drawings and design documentation. They will be responsible for managing incoming drawings requests, preparing comprehensive design review packages, and maintaining the highest drafting standards through QA/QC processes.

Daily, the Drafting Coordinator will respond to drawing requests from engineering firms and project stakeholders, prepare and compile complete design review packages for internal and external distribution, and review drawings for accuracy, code compliance and alignment with project specifications. They will utilize AutoCAD to generate and revise detailed technical drawings, maintain up-to-date documentation, and manage version control of all project drawings.

Required Skills & Experience

4-5 years drafting/drafting coordination experience

Proficient within AutoCAD

Oil and gas industry experience

Experience with coordination, document control, and QA/QC of drawing packages

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Micro Station

Experience with Cadworx

Experience in the midstream oil and gas industry
