** Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for a Commissioning and Startup Electrical / Instrument & Controls Engineer.

This position reports to the Global HYCO Director of Commissioning and Startup. The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Manager provides leadership and technical expertise for commissioning and start-up activities across industrial capital projects ranging from several million to over $1B. The role requires a subject matter expert in electrical construction and commissioning, with demonstrated success in leading teams, developing processes, and implementing strategies to ensure safe, high-quality installation, commissioning, and start-up of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical and instrumented systems for industrial capital projects, in addition to having knowledge in Instrument and Controls for the above.

The E&I Manager collaborates closely with commissioning teams, Product Delivery Organization Electrical Engineering, Operations Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, and construction teams to deliver projects efficiently and safely.

This position will provide leadership, experience, and oversight to identify and implement work processes, industry standards, training, and overall competency development of the electrical and instrumentation commissioning team within the Global HYCO Product Delivery Organization Commissioning & Startup group.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial electrical engineering experience as well as construction and commissioning experience in oil, gas, power, chemical, or similar process industries along with a proven track record of implementing industry safe practices, and familiar in Instrument and Controls installation and troubleshooting.
