Network Engineer – Activations Team

The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing technology services organization to hire a Network Engineer for its Activations Team. This role plays a key part in delivering successful network installations and ensuring a high-quality client experience.

The Network Engineer collaborates with project management, design, and client-facing teams to deploy and support enterprise network environments. This position focuses on network activations, technical execution, documentation, and ongoing optimization.

• Support network installation and activation projects from handoff through completion
• Serve as the engineering point of contact for assigned high‑speed internet deployments
• Execute technical work aligned with established standards and best practices
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
• Ensure compliance with technical and branding standards
• Recommend process and configuration improvements
• Manage, resolve, or elevate incidents in accordance with SLAs

• 5+ years of network engineering experience supporting enterprise networks
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, and network security
• Experience with Fortigate firewalls and enterprise switching/wireless platforms (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus)
• Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
