The Principal Designer
- Piping is responsible for performing detailed design activities in the Piping discipline.

• Perform complex designs and layouts of Piping & Instrument Diagrams, Piping Plans, Sections & Isometrics and Piping Bill of Materials utilizing CAD hardware and software.
• Review vendor drawings and information.
• Train and direct designers and other CAD personnel.
• Ability to function in lead role on projects.

• 5 years of CAD experience
• 10 or more years of design experience in a drafting environment developing Piping & Instrument Designs (P&IDs), piping plans and sections and piping bills of materials.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
• Previous project leadership preferred
• Experience in piping projects for pipeline companies’ and/or upstream companies’ compressor stations, pump stations and facilities preferred
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Cad Worx required
• Microsoft Excel

• High school diploma required
• Associate's degree or certification from technical trade preferred

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
• Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
• Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
