Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and reliability of critical natural gas infrastructure? We are seeking a dedicated Pipeline Integrity Engineer to lead and manage comprehensive integrity programs for our pipeline assets. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive integrity management plans for natural gas pipeline systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Conduct detailed pipeline assessments, including data analysis, risk evaluations, and integrity evaluations to identify and prioritize maintenance and repair activities.
- Oversee inspections and monitoring programs utilizing technologies such as inline inspection tools, pressure testing, and direct assessment methods.
- Manage defect repair, mitigation, and maintenance strategies to prevent failures and extend pipeline service life.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance—to develop and execute integrity enhancement projects.
- Lead efforts in surface assessment activities such as corrosion control, coating evaluations, and land use considerations.
- Prepare and review technical reports, repair procedures, and compliance documentation for regulatory filings and internal records.
- Provide technical guidance on integrity issues, ensuring that all activities adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Stay current with industry developments, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve integrity programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (usually 5+ years) in pipeline integrity management, inspection, or related roles within the energy or utility sector.
- Strong understanding of pipeline inspection technologies, corrosion mechanisms, and integrity assessment methods.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PHMSA (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration) and associated standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
