Base Pay Range

$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

A client of ours is seeking a Mid-Level Air Quality Scientist or Engineer to join our dynamic environmental consulting team. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that help clients achieve compliance and sustainability goals while improving air quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct air emissions inventories and regulatory applicability analyses
    .
  • Prepare and review air permit applications (NSR, Title V, PSD) and compliance reports.
  • Perform air dispersion modeling (AERMOD, ISC-PRIME) and interpret results.
  • Support environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to clients, regulators, and internal teams.
  • Stay current with evolving federal and state air quality regulations
    .
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in air quality consulting, permitting, or regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with EPA and state-specific air regulations
    .
  • Proficiency with modeling tools (AERMOD, ISC-PRIME) and emissions calculation software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
