Our client, an industry leader in midstream oil and gas operations, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Designer to join their team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Designer Midstream Oil and Gas

Location: Houston, Texas

Pay Range: $50

What's the Job?
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD software for various projects.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct field investigations, produce detailed reports, and incorporate findings into design revisions.
  • Develop comprehensive drawing packages for approval, bidding, and construction phases.
  • Assist in project cost estimation, scheduling, and providing technical guidance to team members.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience in refinery, plant, tank terminals, and transportation facilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of material nomenclature, specifications, symbology, and P&IDs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or related field.
