What You’ll Do- Manage project management of engineering/construction projects, including opportunity/ problem identification, options for resolution, project estimates, resource requirements, detailed schedule, work plans, detailed designs, bid requests and overall construction management. Proactively manage project costs to meet budget and established timelines, monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Design using AutoCAD to perform design tasks and produce drawings, drawing on internal/external mechanical and civil designer resources as required.
- Inspect by providing field supervision/inspection services on construction projects and performing post‑project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achieved.
- Prepare bid packages for construction and manage construction contracts.
- Provide project updates on a regular frequency to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Represent the company to industry associations, government officials and public agencies.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of project management and related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Strong familiarity with project management and engineering software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Knowledge of crushing, screening, solid–liquid separation and material handling systems. Professional Engineer License preferred.
