- Execute system‑level commissioning tests (functionality checks, network verification, and performance validation).
- Manage subsets of on‑site team, 2–10 people, to autonomously drive project initiatives specified by the Senior Commissioning Engineer.
- Foster and maintain a safety culture for all team members, maintaining Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) programs.
- Review and validate configurations for PLC, SCADA, EMS, network, etc.
- Conduct troubleshooting for control system issues, network faults, and inverter problems.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Support safety inspections, risk assessments, and FAT validation.
- Provide field reports and document all commissioning activities.
- Experience with commissioning, power conversion systems, and industrial networks. BESS commissioning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of control systems, communication protocols (Modbus, CAN), and safety procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Safety certifications (OSHA 30, OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, First Aid, CPR, AED).
