Electro/Mechanical Supervisor
At EOSOL we are looking for Electro/Mechanical Supervisor to supervise, coordinate, and control all electrical and mechanical works on site, ensuring they are carried out according to drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules
, while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Supervise cable routing, wiring, terminations, motors, pumps, HVAC, piping, and rotating equipment installation.
- Ensure that all works comply with technical drawings, standards, and project procedures
. - Review and interpret schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), P&IDs, and mechanical layouts
. - Verify alignment, calibration, and functionality of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure all materials and equipment meet the approved specifications and quality standards
. - Conduct inspections and functional tests before handover to the client.
- Identify and report nonconformities or technical deviations
, proposing corrective actions. - Maintain quality documentation
, including inspection checklists and test reports.
- Enforce HSE policies and safe work practices during all field activities.
- Ensure personnel use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow lockout/tagout and permit-to-work systems.
- Report and stop any unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
- Support incident investigations and implement corrective measures.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings with construction, engineering, and HSE teams.
- Coordinate activities between electrical, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation disciplines
. - Monitor progress, productivity, and manpower allocation to meet project deadlines.
- Manage the procurement and availability of tools, materials, and consumables required for the work.
- Keep up-to-date daily progress reports, inspection records, and As-Built documentation
. - Report to management on project progress, technical issues, and resource needs
. - Support the commissioning and handover documentation process
.
- Strong leadership and team supervision.
- Excellent technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
. - Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years in supervision of electrical and mechanical works in construction, maintenance, or industrial projects.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Electrical systems (motors, panels, power distribution, grounding, instrumentation).
- Mechanical systems (piping, pumps, compressors, rotating equipment).
- Relevant standards:
IEC, NEC, ASME, API
, and related safety codes. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and standard office tools.
- Certifications (preferred):
- HSE Supervisor Training, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry.
- Commissioning or QA/QC certification.
