Electrical Engineer-in-Training
Work Location: Fully Onsite – Houston, TX 77024 and Plano, TX
Job Type: Direct Hire
Interview Process: 3 steps: 1st virtual with Manager, 2nd virtual with President, 3rd final onsite (approx. 4 hours)
Certification Requirement: Must have EIT or PE in Texas
Required Skills and Knowledge- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination
- Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
- Ability to work well on a team
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of building codes
- Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment
- Experience in the design of lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, power and power distribution, technology systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial buildings
