Job Title:
Technical Leader Domain Expert Gasification Technology or Design Engineering / Application Engineering -- Chemical Process Engineering and Component Design
Location: Houston, TX, 77041
Duration: 12+ months (Possibilities of extension)
Job Description:
- The Technical Leader, Domain Expertise, will provide technical leadership and mentorship in various sections or systems of the overall gasification process for Gasification Chemical Process Engineers.
- You will be responsible for process design of the gasification and development of the gasification subsystems.
- You will review all process design documents, such as PFD, PID, & PDS, including scope for PDP/PIPs.
- Act as a Technical Integration Leader for projects, leading and coordinating project execution with global teams in the USA, India, and China.
- Communicate with customers, licensees, EPC, design institutes, and internal teams to develop process design documents.
- Develop sizing for key process equipment including vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, and other equipment.
- Create sizing tools and criteria for key process plant equipment.
- Optimize process configurations based on project requirements, including water cycles for chemical plant integration.
- Support proposals for Feasibility Studies, PDP, PIP, FEED, PS, and EPC quotes for gasification projects, including licensing and chemical applications.
- Extensive gasification experience, including development, commissioning, start-up, and issue resolution.
- 20+ years or more than 15 years of experience in a technical leadership role in process systems engineering.
- Design Engineering / Application Engineering in Chemical Process Engineering and Component Design.
