We’ve teamed up with a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm, and they are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join their Houston based Public Infrastructure team. In this role, you will support and lead technical design for municipal and public‑sector projects—including roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and parks infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a technical lead on public infrastructure projects under the guidance of Project Managers.
- Prepare civil construction drawings, plans, and models using AutoCAD Civil 3D
. - Develop calculations, estimates, and specifications for roadway, drainage, water, and sewer improvements.
- Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, agencies, and subconsultants.
- Ensure QA/QC, design standards, and regulatory compliance across project work.
- Support construction administration, including bids, RFIs, and field coordination.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Assist with schedule and budget management by identifying issues and solutions.
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (ABET).
- EIT required

Texas PE preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years. - 3+ years of public infrastructure design experience (roadway, drainage, water/wastewater).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong civil design fundamentals
