Dell Driving Technician / Field Service Technician

Job details and requirements for a field service role involving driving to customer locations to repair/troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals, primarily Dell products.

• Drive to various customer locations from a designated pickup parts location.
• Visit business offices and residences to repair/troubleshoot/break-fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Use your own vehicle to travel to service locations.
• Provide service primarily for Dell products; prior related experience is a plus.
• Travel within a 50 to 70 mile radius from the pickup location.
• Maintain professional communication and appearance.
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (approximately 300 miles per week).

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training or expired status accepted).
• Dell or other product manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Strong experience working with laptops and desktops is required.
• Experience with break/fix repairs is required.

• Upon offer, you will undergo a background check and driving record review.
• Dell certifications training (online) may be required and completion is expected.
• Be prepared to engage in contract terms and conditions of the company.
• Pay is biweekly based on approved hours.
• Mileage reimbursement is provided; contact for specifics.
• Plan for a backup vehicle in case your car breaks down.
