Job Description As a Field Service Technician for Insight Global's client, you’ll travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair rotating energy equipment—primarily gas turbines. You’ll interpret technical documents, troubleshoot systems, and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently. The role demands mechanical expertise, physical endurance, and a commitment to safety and precision. Technicians play a vital part in keeping energy systems running reliably across diverse and challenging environments.

• Disassembly/reassembly of units – take unit apart, inspect components
• Preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot systems and interpret technical documents
• Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair rotating energy equipment (primarily gas turbines)
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

• 2+ years of relative experience in a field technician role
• Able to read/understand technical drawings and instrument readings
• Comfortable working in the natural elements, confined/tight spaces, or at varying heights
• Industrial background – related to industrial mill operations, aerospace, or large machinery
• Traveling experience – ability to arrange travel, receive dispatch, and book as needed; ~every 2 weeks expense reporting
• Computer savvy – travel/expenses/time entry/evaluation feedback/documentation;

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, or air tools experience
• Experience working on gas or airplane turbines
• Diesel mechanic experience
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools
• Related degrees/certifications
