Position OverviewAs a Enrollment Counselor at Galen College of Nursing, you will guide prospective students through the enrollment process, providing assistance throughout the process in an effort to meet both the student’s educational goals and the College’s recruitment goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSubmitting the application for admission. Collecting and recording all supporting documentation needed to complete a prospective student file, such as admission requirements, transcripts, test scores, etc. Scheduling entrance assessment, as needed. Collaborating with the Office of Academic Records to evaluate and apply requested transfer credit. Collecting and recording all supporting documentation needed to package federal financial aid, as needed. Collaborating with the Financial Aid Office to evaluate and award any eligible federal financial aid.
Collaborating with the Office of Academic Records and Student Success to assist in the program advising and registration of first term classes. Supporting students to help overcome any delays or obstacles to enrollment
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. - Experience:
Experience working with Ellucian Recruit CRM or Colleague experience helpful, but not required. - Skills:
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must be responsible and accountable for striving to reach individual, as well as departmental goals. Must be a team player by assisting and encouraging…
