Camp Acorn enhances language, social, motor and academic development in a literature-rich, multi-sensory environment for children from 2 - 12 years old. Our camp focuses on children who have communication delays and learning differences and average to above average learning potential.

All School DismissalFriday at noon
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Plans, directs, and implements individual therapy care plans.
- Integrates therapy goals into all curriculum activities.
- Conducts regular assessment of therapy goals and revises therapy care plans as needed.
- Prepares and implements lesson plans utilizing the schools adopted curriculum.
- Conducts curriculum assessment on a regular basis.
- Consults and collaborates with the program director in planning instruction.
- Guides para-educator in understanding and implementing therapy goals and strategies for each student.
- Administers, scores, and interprets diagnostic evaluations.
- Conducts file review on each student.
- Maintains student records as required.
- Plans and leads collaborative consultation team meetings as needed.
- Acts as consultant and collaborates with professionals from other disciplines.
- Writes progress reports.
